Lounapuisto is forming a circular economy-based ecosystem, which is builds upon the jointly established Lounapuisto 2035 vision. Development of the ecosystem is facilitated by the Lounapuisto project, which gets different actors to interact with each other and develop activities in line with the principles of the circular economy. Circular economy ecosystems solve complex challenges and develop new opportunities for building a circular economy through cooperation. At Lounapuisto, the circular economy ecosystem is built by means of interviews and events.

The network of eco-industrial parks offers an outlook on the entire circular economy in Finland. The objective of the network is to exchange best practices and monitor the development of the circular economy in Finland and abroad. An eco-industrial park can also function as an expert panel and issue statements and opinions on the circular economy. In 2023, the network is being headed by Yrityssalo Oy.

Owned by the City of Salo, Salon Kaukolämpö Oy handles the sale and distribution of district heating and commissions, maintains and develops the distribution network to meet the needs of its customers. District heating is a sustainable and safe choice.
